If you force quit (command, option, escape), does it show which app is not responding? That might point you in the right direction of where the problem is.

I had this very recently. The user has to have Full permissions to the local directories that FMS is installed to (ie: c:\program files\sims.net\finance, or whatever).

Hi. Go into terminal and type: sudo ipfw list This will show the current firewall settings. It will probably read: 65535 allow ip from any to any Then type: sudo ipfw deny ip from YOUR_IP to 172.16.1.254 That should do it. Type 'sudo ipfw list' again to check. If it doesn't work, Type 'sudo allow ip from any to any' again to put it back.

Log in to the macs as the administrator and copy the 'root\Users' folder across to the windows share. That should give you everything you need. If you're worried, just check the windows share to see all necessary folders and libraries are included.
