  1. Did you manage to find a fix for this, its been driving me nuts for the past couple of weeks!!!
  2. That is absolutley spot on. Thank you so much Off to design some powerpoints now. Happyness!
  3. Sorry to hop onto this thread, but I wondered if you could remember what it was you had to change to stop all the settings being removed when it rebooted!? I have exactly the same problem, and its causing much hassle! Many thanks if anyone has any ideas!
  4. Cheers all, the boot cd worked a treat. Just getting the data off now, then it's going to be wiped to the maximum. Fingers crossed it stops playing silly beggars after that
  5. Ah, the one thing I haven't tried, been getting so stressed with the damn thing had forgotton about by boot cd. Fingers crossed. Had tried the safe mode method, still no joy. If this doesn't work, its going in the dishwasher. Jamie
  6. Not sure if its in the right place to start with, apologies if it is. Have got a staff laptop acting very strangely, would love to just wipe it, but there's some vital data that I need off it, and can't get to due to point 1 below (the others are also very annoying in case anyone has any ideas!) 1) I cannot copy the data, via either right clicking, ctrcl+c or in command prompt using DOS commands. When in windows I can't select paste, or ctrl+v does nothing... 2) When programs are loaded up, nothing appears on the start menu, yet if I alt+tab, everything appears.. 3) The trackpad will every now and then have a mind of its own, off to the bottom left of the screen she goes!! Have scanned for spyware and viruses, both with no joy. I guess what I'm asking is any idea on how to copy the data, then I can just wipe the bloomin thing, its getting me a tad mad. Thanks all, Jamie.
  7. As I thought to be honest. Ho hum. Just wanted the whole school to be the same at least for a bit, ease of imaging and such. Thanks for your help. Jamie.
  8. Anyone got any of these they can still quote for, just to get this primary school i'm at up to scratch with every classroom having the same machine driving the whiteboards and used by the teacher? Unlikely I know as its all new RM kit now, but thought I'd ask. Let me know if you have, Many thanks, Jamie.
  9. Hello!! After some quotes for a netbook trolley, capable of holding a minimum of 15 Netbooks. (Unsure on Models yet, possibly Toshiba NB200s). We're after 3 of these for one of my schools, going to be housed all over the shop. Using original power supplies. If anyone can send me a quote or point me in the right direction, that'd be lovely. Thank you! Jamie.
