Sorry to Geoff I didn't make myself very clear. Yes we have upgraded but the XP machines are still using Windows\Profiles to store the all users profile desktop information etc. GrumbleDook - Not really an option unless it's an absolute last resort i'm afraid. We have about 30GB of software on each of the machines (imaged of course) but it has all had to be carefully played with to work alongside the other stuff. Was just wondering if a patch or anything was avaliable. I know there is a way to change this in the registry but was looking for something a little easier

Some of our workstations were on an NT4.0 Network so the user profile location was set to C:\Windows\Profiles. Now we are operating a fully Server 2003 network how can we set the default save location for userprofiles to C:\Documents and Settings\ as intended. All of the NT4 machines (all running xp) are still using c:\windows\profiles. Thanks Tom

We have received 3 update files in the form of .msp packages. I have written a piece of script to run all three passivly and it works. However it will only run as an administrator. Is there a way either through login scripts or through the loginscript element of group policies to make the script work, either on its own or by forcing it to run as administrator/system? Does anybody know of any free anti-virus software that will run on Server 2003? Not for the college before I get the inevitable replies on spending money is a good idea on anti-virus but for a small business that I am currently supporting but doesn't want to spend any more money. Cheers Tom
