  1. I'm not a fan of Bogen products. 3 of our old schools at my last district had Bogen systems and they never worked properly. We eventually replaced them with Dukane. Either way though I am not going the amplifier in the room route. Ideally I want an intercom system that integrates easily with my Cisco VoIP phone system, and can also use Cat5 instead of speaker wire. I have heard some intercom systems are moving to this type since cat5 is usually already present in the rooms so the vendor doesn't have to run all new cable. The big names I know of are Dukane, Rouland, and Bogen. Do you know of any other bigger vendors?
  2. I am not sure if this is in the right forum so please move it if not. My district currently has very old Telecenter ICS intercom/bell systems and I desperately want to replace them. My previous district was using dukane systems and I have heard they are pretty good overall. Can anyone make any recommendations? Also, can intercom replacements be e-rated?
  3. We solved the problem. It seems multicasting wasn't setup correctly in the switch. We run the microsoft provided tools called "mcast.exe" to test to see if multicasting was working correctly outside of WDS. Once we identified that WDS wasn't the issue we found our problem.
  4. Has anyone solved this yet? We are having the EXACT same problem where the XP images do not wait for other computers, they just start and then disappear from the multicast session inside the WDS manager. I have a question opened on the technet forums as well. WDS and multicasting - session is starting too soon
