Hey all, new guy here with a rather odd problem.
I have one user who can't get to any secure web sites (https) with IE6 - it simply comes up with 'Page cannot be displayed'. I've had a look online, and found many suggestions including unregistering/re-registering a bunch of DLLs, scanning for spyware (none found), deleting his local profile (we use roaming ones) and checking his Advanced IE settings are correct (they are).
This problem only seems to affect him, no matter what machine he uses. Other people using his machine are just fine. I attempted to reinstall IE6, but the installer (downloaded fresh from microsoft.com) said the version already present was newer.
An interesting thing is if I go into Internet Options > Content > Certificates and try to open any certificate, it says "A system-level error occurred while verifying trust".
He's using Windows XP, IE6 (6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519), and the network runs on Windows Server 2003. Any ideas? This is driving me mad!
