  1. We use papercut here too. Works fine on Macs and PCs.
  2. Problem solved. Allowed network user access to the AU file.
  3. HI, Our macs are bound to AD and OD. AD for authentication and OD for setting preferences using WGM. When a student launches Word they get the wretched "you don't have permission to use the application AU Daemon" Firstly where does this program reside? students have access to the Applications folder. Secondly, can I kill it for good? - I would prefer to update Word manually, as and when I want to. TIA Osxman
  4. Had the same issue previously and this is what I did to resolve it. Never had a time sync problem since. Xserve points to win 2008 time server Mac clients point to Xserve for time This certainly has resolved our mac time related issues.
