Where did you get the RAM from? Idea of cost?

I've looked at a few posts on other sites saying they'd upgraded thier netbook to 2GB but... I don't want to risk it as the RAM is i think something silly like £80 when i last looked (end of last year) and i don't want to break my netbook

I've just deployed this onto a couple of machines to test and gosh is it rubbish. I much prefer IE7! Ever since I've installed IE8 i've had problems with the adobe reader opening into a web page and problems with my RSS feeds... I really give up.

Do you think anyone is going to try it yet? I have a netbook with XP, but I was thinking of upgrading but sometimes it struggles running a few apps. I'd be interested to know your thoughts on if it's possible, I mean I thought 1GB RAM and a decent processor was all that is needed?!

CentraStage Thier website is pretty naff but when you actually see the software its pretty powerful. I was dealing with a chap called [email protected] they will be growing in to an apps store and friends and family (Log Me In Free) for 30 machines soon [so i'm told]. Worth a look.
