Thanks for the help posted regarding blocking this program. I do use software restriction policies but this is complicated by the fact that the executable it runs is javaw.exe so blocking this I guess would block all java apps. And the fact that it can be installed using normal user rights. It is disappointing that yuuguu have developed a program which doesn't allow us to control its access. I am in fact all for these sort of collaboration programs and we are like many schools implementing a VLE designed to perform these such functions but in a controlled way so they can actually possibly be effective in improving learning. Software like yuuguu however simply undermine what we are trying to achieve. I've seen what they chat about using these programs and I can assure you they are never discussing work! These programs are fine for use outside of lesson time but during lessons they simply make the teachers job much harder and do nothing to promote learning.

We run it here and have been extremely impressed with it. It is installed on all PCs and teachers are able to use it in all the IT suites. So far all the teachers have been pleased with it and no issues have been reported to me. Considering I was looking at software costing thousands of pounds this was the find of the year! My script is pretty much the same as the one posted here but I also modify the registry to point the public key to a shared drive. This means that I can easily and regularly change the public/private key for security. The setting is located in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\iTALC Solutions\iTALC\keypathspublic. I would like to be able to set up different keys for each room and me have all the keys set up on my PC but I don't think the software is capable of this.

Not sure if this is the correct forum but I'm having a problem with the results that come up on google when you search for my school. Some disgruntled ex pupils have created an account on bebo with the school name for people to bad mouth the school and this is appearing as only the fourth result down on google. The head has therefore asked me to do something about it, not that I can think of much. Has anyone else come across this problem? Bebo or google won't do anything about it. Trying to work out how the order on google is worked out so I could create some other sites to at least push it onto the second page. Any help would be much appreciated.
