  1. Hello world I was wondering if there is anyone out there who can provide a list of the Lanview Server Console Commands. I am using Lanview Server 4 but so far the few console commands I know from Lanview Server still work. The main command I am trying to get hold of is for scheduling a 'force shutdown' for a Group. It seems you can only use the command 'shutdown /force' with individual IP's. You can force shutdown a group by right-clicking the group, navigating to Shutdown and holding shift as you press the Shutdown command so I assume it can also be replicated in Scheduling using a command Any help? A list of all codes would be even better but this is the main problem I am having trouble with at the moment Thanks!
  2. Importing from LV Server 3 was a doddle, less then 5 mins to do. It works fine with our Ultravnc and LV3 clients installed on the computers on site. Tested out the new client and ultravnc but you can't use your old password, you can't even seem to change it. I looked into the configuration files and there is a field for a password, but changing that to what we used before didn't work. But What you have to do from what I saw if you want to install the new client, with the new ultravnc you need to go to your lv4 Server go to: File > Options > VNC In there is a little hyperlink next to text box labelled 'Reset', click that and it will put in the default password that is configured with the new Ultravnc, then it should start working again. You just gotta install it to all stations. But again Something else we discovered first time we tried the client without taking out the old ultravnc was that our lvserver could still connect to the computer using the old password, so it seems like it did not get overwritten by the exe. Of course you can optionally choose to not install the ultravnc by going to 'Custom; on the installation Hope this helps
  3. Ah! Thank you for that, really appreciate it
  4. Really? When was this. Not heard anything my end yet
  5. Ok it's been a while since the site closed, but has anyone been emailed anything about Lanview 4 or know where it's at in development? We were one of the schools who donated and have not heard a peep about it. Anyone ?
  6. Hey guys a big thank you for LANVIEW and LANVIEW Slideshow they are really useful here at the school and we have caught so many proxy websites with it and now blocking them as they come with ease I know LANVIEW Server 4 is on the way, and we should be on the list to get it, just wondering what support you will provide for it. And also whether the Slideshow will come out of Beta? I assume there will be some form or another of support if there are bugs with these programs or revisions?
