Tried to boot it up in vga mode - comes up with black screen after windows logo Remoted controlled via Dameware same problem Logged on in safemode and changed the display setting but these won't save Have deleted the display adapters as suggested and now have a blue screen after windows logo Will try a bios upgrade next but would be grateful for any other suggestions

A Windows XP Pro system will display the Windows logo and then then the screen goes black and nothing else displays. Another monitor was tried and the same results. No new hardware or software was added to the system. A system restore, last known good configuration were done and the same issue happens. The computer will boot into safe mode and display.
