I'm using edugeek joomla and template axe_rescheek_orange. However I am sure on the top right hand menu when I used to roll over, say, 'The Curriculum' the drop down lists 'art, english ect' were orange when you hovered over them. I've been swopping the colour schemes through the template chooser to see what the other 3 colours would look like but at the moment prefer the orange and have reset that as the default. Can anyone confirm, whether: 1. I'm imagining this and it was never an 'orange' roll over/hover? 2. If it was orange, how do I get it back to that (currently blue when you roll over)? Thanks

Yep, i'm confused as well. I was originally asked to embed the camera link into the website so as 'people couldn't mess with it'! - using Iframe has worked and I'm happy with that - I had scroll bars which didn't look particularly good, however having had another look at the settings this morning I hadn't set these to 'off' - perhaps if I hadn't had the extra glass of wine yesterday afternoon I would have spotted it! Needless to say, alls well and huge thanks for your help.

Huge thanks Simon...it works! I have it in an IFrame. Only query now is how do I get the IFrame to open in a new window as its within the current webpage. I've got: {iframe height="400" frameborder="1"}http://urltowebcam{/iframe} I've tried putting in target="_blank" but not having much luck, any ideas?

Yep, the IP address put in the browser display realtime images and there is a drop down option to change the fps varying from 2s to 10min or off.

Sorry don't know about the make and model of the cam and can't get hold of construction company to find out!

Thanks Simon Yawcam installed, ftp details I'm fine with. However can't select a camera under the 'camera' option as I'm not on the same network - all I've been given is the IP address of the camera, so is there anyway in which I can input this into Yawcam to grab the images (can't see anything obvious) or I could bypass this and give the building company ftp details direct to the website to upload the images - if I did the latter then how do I use the Camviewer module in Joomla to display the images? (I've got that installed and set to appear on the left column as suggested...I've done something right!!!)

I'm having a blonde moment I feel and would really appreciate if someone could give me quick bullet points on what to do next..as I say I am a complete novice at this (for the moment!). How do I get the images/video from the IP address of the webcam on a new school build displaying on the joomla website V1 I've now got to maintain? Can anyone out there help please?

I'm knew to Joomla and currently using V1.5 on my school site but looking after another site using V1.0 and it is this site that I need help with. (I will be upgrading at some point!) I have an IP address for a webcam and need to embed this into the V1.0 site so visitors can see whats going on! I have no idea how to do this...can anyone help and give me bullet point instructions on doing this?

Hello, Thanks - I did have permission errors on the actual Joomla install which were sorted before template query. I gave them your info anyhow and they have said there is no params.ini file in the folder so probably why it is unwritable! I'm going round in circles now they have asked me to reupload the eg_default template but I'm not on my usual laptop, don't have it to hand and now can't find it on edugeek to download...does anyone know where it is and has it got the required params.ini file in it and I want it in the orange colour. Any help/advice really appreciated! I've been given two days to redesign the school website, am really enthusiastic about this template and eager to get on but so far I've achieved nothing!

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, I have scoured Edugeek to no avail! I have downloaded and installed in the last few days the Edugeek Joomla package. I thought the eg_default snazzy template would be in there but wasn't so have since installed it. However, the eg_default 1.5 in the Template Manager only has a thumbnail in blue (I want orange!) when I select this as the default and go to either preview or edit I get the following message: The parameter file \templates\eg_default1.5\params.ini is unwritable! Any idea how I can fix this so I can actually apply the eg_default template, but also apply it in the orange colour?
