  1. You wouldn't happen to have a photo would you. One of ours has the spring but it's bust. What should the end result look like? Best wishes Tim
  2. Hi. What do people use to make interactive network diagrams? I've started using network notepad but don't find it complex enough. I'd like to be able to draw a map with different buildings and then click on the building to get classrooms, click on classroom to get switches/stations that sort of thing. Am I asking for the impossible? This sort of map would stay on the servers as a point of reference rather than be printed if you see what I mean. Thanks for your help, Tim
  3. Hi, Does anyone know of a good make/model of a power pack tester. We recently purchased one that appeared to be working fine, but then realised that it never gave the same reading twice for any power pack! It also had no instructions, which didn't help, so we could never quite tell if the beeps were good or bad. We would be willing to spend quite a bit on this kit but really want something that will work and is good value for money. Anyone have any suggestions? Tim
  4. Hi there. Thanks for your advice. I tried a new cartridge but to no avail. And I’ve given it a good clean, including print heads but with no success. With regards to the machine with the paper jam, I should have explained that when the printer starts up, pulls a piece of paper half way through and then stops and reports a printer jam. It was this strange behaviour that made me think it was a software problem.
  5. Hi there, I wonder if anybody can help me. I have two HP Business Inkjet 1200 printers that are both showing similar problems. One is suggesting that a cartridge has run out when in fact it is a new cartridge and the other is showing a constant paper jam, even though there is non. I have tried a hardware re-set on both of these printers and flashing the latest firmware across but to no avail. Does anybody have any other suggestions as I am reluctant to throw them away as they are both physically fine. Many thanks, Tim
