thaks james ,Guess what I found the same page few minutes age, I have sorted the problem out by installing moss 2007 and enabled the SSO service, I have restarted the servers and reconfigured the Central SSO settings, But still it does,nt seems to be working It asks me to login when trying to open word documents ,does the same with email mail access from portal. not sure what else I acan do?

Do I need to install Moss 2007 on the server to get the SSO service or is there any other way.

Hi, thanks for reply but may be I did,nt explain this right , I really need to connect the SSO database to active directory so SSO database reflects any changes to a user credentials, First I need to add all the users and then database should keep it uptodate, or I can run a script to update it. Sharepoint configuration database should have all the user credentials can we use that?

Thanks karlieb very interesting, I quiet like the work Mike Herrity and his team has done ,I am not a developer and do not have a team but I will contact Mike and see if I can use their web parts in to our school Sharepoint portal

Real-Time reporting - What are the options ? We are considering SIMS LG web parts for Real-Time reporting for parents in our LG, Quote we got from SIMS is expensive,I am wondering if there are any other option .Is there any other developers who can do the same or better. Has any body used any other products apart from sims?

Sorry jamesb been away for few days, thanks for your replay Yes I have imported AD groups in to sharepoint install , they work very well apart from in audiences

I am having a problem creating Audience using AD groups , when I creat a rule for audience using 'member of' Operator and point to an AD group it does not work. after compiling the audience it does not pick on members of the group and shows as zero members. if I create sharepoint group and add users to it ,I can target web parts directly to those groups , but I want to get audiences working. If I use property with '= or contains' operator it works , I think its somthing to do with AD groups which it audience setting does'nt like, has any body come accross same problem ?

Hot potatoes works very well but it does not keep the answers, it provides teacher with score but actual quiz or test resets it self. As nsbr said it could be if I am running an older version of SLK , upgrading it to SLK 1.3.1 might sort it But this might sound silly but how do I check which version of SLK i am running l
