I'm looking for a Senior ICT Technician to join my team, based at Eggbuckland Community College on the outskirts of Plymouth (just off the A38, easy commute as you avoid the city centre). You'll need solid IT support skills as well as effective communication and task management/prioritisation skills. You'll be responsible for resolution of day-to-day IT issues, tasking and supporting the junior technician.
It's full time 37 hours x 52 weeks and a fully onsite role.
The school is mostly on-prem, with AD and a M365 tenant, Aruba network, Hyper-V running on mostly Dell kit. We also use Smoothwall, Barracuda etc - all industry standard stuff. It is part of the Westcountry Schools Trust, and there is a Teams area for all IT staff across all trust schools offering help and support. You'll be reporting into me, and I'll make sure you have the support you need to succeed.
The school's tenant will be migrating into Trust's overarching tenant so there will be opportunities to build skills in 365 admin - InTune etc.
