    You could try a telnet session to the host on port 443 to see if you can connect when the till is having problems. From a DOS prompt do Telnet ip address 443 (ie Telnet 123.456.789.111 443) This should present you with either a blank dos box or some html code.

    I have a Cisco 5520 that is now surplus to requirements. If anyone is interested please contact me. It is just over a year old. We used it for terminating VPN connections but have now upgraded.
