AH. Good to know. I've not used/looked into it and the context I used made it seem like it did some management. My assumptions are definitely wrong. How about Jamf Now? Maybe that's the one I was thinking of.

I might be able to give you some help or direct you to the right information. What Jamf product are you using? There are Three "versions" of Jamf MDMs. Jamf Pro, Jamf School, & Jamf Connect. They each are similar, but have some differences that cause a bit of confusion between them. I use Jamf School and these are a basic run down of what the steps are for me. Once the iPad is in ASM and the MDM assigned is Jamf and Jamf has synced with ASM, the unassigned device will be listed in the ADE section. Before you can set it up you will need to go through creating an ADE profile and assigning that profile to the device. Other standard profiles will need to be created as well (wi-fi, certs, restrictions, etc) and then you will also need a Device Group to have those profiles assigned so they will apply to the devices assigned to that group. I can link the documentation for the specifics of your Jamf MDM if you tell me what one it is. I hope this helps. Greg
