  1. Hi Penfold, just wondered how close you were to the contracted support that you have mentioned and whether you had any ideas of costs involved yet? Regards Addid
  2. Hi Penfold, still trying to get the timetables to appear. Have removed original simstimetable block and sql view. Ran your new version and get the simestimetable installation successful message. However the view has not been recreated? Are there any access logs being generated anywhere. Get the feeling its the connection to SQL but not sure how to check it? Addid
  3. Hi Penfold, thanks for replying. I have moodle/AD running on 1 virtual win2003 SIMS/SQL on another. Have followed your guide, made a couple of changes to the script and now have fully populated OU's in AD. Including the employee id fields etc. Have unzipped and placed the simstimetable files into the web folder When we log a student in they get a timetable link, when we click it we just get empty timetables? Not sure how the timetable data comes acrossed? or if it is being read live? If live then assuming I have got connection details wrong somewhere? No major rush as I am out again today but any help would be good when you get a minute. Thanks again
  4. Hi, were you successful in getting the timetables acrossed into moodle? We have followed the guide and our timetables are all blank. Did you come acrossed the same problem and if so what did you need to do to get them reading them? Or could you explain how the mechanism of reading the timetables works? All of the views appear to be working in SQL Server management studio except for dob.vbs_admanager, do you think this would have any bearing on the problem? We are also not getting course enrolment coming acrossed. My feeling is we must have login credentials wrong somewhere but not sure where to look.
  5. Now getting everything sent to AD but still no cigar! Is the shop keeper about, not sure how the timetable link works so can't fault find it. SQL views all look good Still got Blank Timetables
  6. Getting further. Have now added in sims.net timetable module and getting empty timetables? Also noticed the employeeid is not being populated when the user is being created using sims2ad.vbs. So have manually updated a few students to test. Any pointers would be appreciated.
  7. All sorted. For anyone that gets a similar problem: You need to get the AD structure correct as per the script or modify the script. Brilliant, onto the next problem now. FYI Loving it so far. We are currently using an internal Sharepoint based VLE but due to licensing costs, the LEA selling themselves to RM and the extortionate price of Capita WebParts look firmly on our way to Moodle....
  8. Hi I have just followed the Moodle, LDAP and SIMS.net (obviously wrongly somewhere) and we have no users being created!! My platform is 2 x Windows 2003 Virtual machines. Moodle/AD on one SIMS/MSSQL2005 on the other. Have created an AD structure of OU=Students,OU=Year 7 OU=Students,OU=Year 8 etc etc. Many thanks for any ideas
