  1. Good to know. The lead is a 2m lead. Would have thought a USB powered hub would give it a boost but made no difference. Yes - we have had problems with other boards with the HDMI. These ones are suffering just with the USB touch. Teachers have taken to drawing on the board with a whiteboard marker; a simple workaround! Might have a go at replacing the USB socket then...
  2. We have some old Smartboards - 4065 - three of them cannot maintain a USB connection for the touch function. The USB connection repeatedly disconnects and reconnects. have tried: - disabling power management settings for USB - new short cable - Windows 10 and Windows 11 - different devices - powered USB hub Anything else that could help fix this? Have considered removing the USB-B socket and replacing with a new one but cannot imagine that is the fault for three boards. I saw on some old threads that other people had this issue but didn't see a solution.
