I am trying to set up a vlan to segment wireless I currently have a HP-E5406z1.The network is 10.0.0.0/255.255.0.0/10.0.0.1 .I want the second vlan 10.1.0.0/255.255.0.0 would the gateway on the second vlan be 10.1.0.1 or 10.0.0.1.The 10.0.0.1 gateway is a sonicwall and the dhcp scope is created.I added the route 10.1.0.0/16 but it wont accept the gateway Ip any help would be appreciated

I have inherited network running 10.0.0.0/16 in one building with about 500 nodes is it worth my time to create separate vlans for wireless,printers,desktops etc?

I have been using Lanview3 for a few weeks and its really great but I dont know how to import the userinfo.txt file I created. I sure do miss the the Lanview website. Any help would be graetly appreciated Bob
