  1. Thank you so much for your reply - - - Updated - - - Thank you for your reply
  2. Today, I went to open our doors remotely via the app on my phone. It would not work. So, I went to the facility and I could use my keyfob. However, when I went to log into the application on the computer, it said something about server not available. Everything looks connected, but I cannot access the system. I rebooted the computer and still same message. I have a call into the technical team that did this installation approximately one year ago, but they are not available until Monday. Just curious, is there anything else I could try. I am hoping that everything I have logged into the system will still work. As I said, I can get into the facility with my fob. Tomorrow, I have the doors set to open automatically. Hopefully, this will work, as it has in the past. Or otherwise, I will have to run to the facility and open the doors manually. Thoughts on what might be going on. Also, I have a few other questions. Currently, we utilize our main office pc as the brains for this software. In other words, it acts as our server. Is that really the best set up. Should we have a separate pc to act as our server for the keyless software? Also, I assume the software is automatically backed up somewhere on our server/computer, but should we also be making a manual backup to this on an external drive or thumb drive. One more question.....does anyone use the remote software through their web browser. I'm thinking of getting our tech to set that up in case for some reason, we don't have our phone handy, but we are close to a pc and can log in via a web browser. If you utilize a web browser does it act pretty much like the app on your phone. Thank you to whomever can answer these questions. We are in a bind, because it is the weekend and we can't get to our technical support until Monday. Thanks.
  3. I think I understand but what if I have 5 fobs with one access timezone and 6 With another time zone. Do I have to apply custom days to both? This could get cumbersome to manage. But I’m open to all suggestions. Thank you
  4. here is the scenario. People have access to this door at different times. This is handled by the timezone attached to their fob. That works. However, now I want the door to auto open for specific days. Created a custom day timezone. Added the correct time in public holiday. Applied this timezone to door for auto open. When this happened. Those fobs did not work. Only fobs that worked were those that had all access any time. I have to have the door auto open on specific days for specific times. However, I can’t seem to get this to work. It seems if I apply the custom time zone to the auto open it overrides the fobs that have limited access our techs are researching and will be coming back next week. I just thought I would see if someone else is having this issue and it seems like the custom day has bugs. I just need to know if anyone has any work around. Thanks.
  5. Staff can get in with their badge at their allotted times. However, when we set up a custom day for the door to auto open for 3 hrs. They can get in which is fine. However, it seems they can get in after the 3 hrs as well and they should not. Their fob works any time. We have custom days 2 times a month and we wanted to load these custom days and not fool with auto opening the door from our phone all the time. our technicians are looking into this I just thought when I started to google and found this site I could find out more info in the interim. It sounds like there is a definite bug in the software. Just looking for some suggestions from true users. Appreciate your help
  6. This is disheartening! - - - Updated - - - Thank you
  7. Thank you. I will review. And try this.
  8. This is very disheartening! There has to be some way around opening a door for a set time but keeping all the other permissions. Someone always can’t be around to auto open the door from their phone. Any suggestions!
  9. We did try this and it didn’t seem to work. But maybe a screenshot will help. Did you use a custom day or not? Thanks. I appreciate all your help.
  10. We tried that but it would auto open for that day but the other fobs would not open the door when they were supposed to. That is why we tried a trigger/rule that seemed to work to open the door but it gave the fobs access for all the time. We have a call into our tech guy and he is going to research it. I was just trying to see if anyone had any ideas in the meantime. Any thoughts would be appreciated. There has to be a way to do this. Tha ks
  11. Yes, we programmed the door to At No Time. Staff Members have fobs so they can access the door M-f 7-11 AND we have Staff that have fobs that can access the same door M-F 7-4. Time Zones are applied per fob. Now, we need this door to auto open on a specific day (custom day)...From 8-Noon. What is the best way to do this? We tried a trigger and that did not work. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
  12. Maybe I should clarify. People have access to this door at different times via a fob. It works by applying the correct time zone per person. However, I need to put in a custom day for this door to be open and then close at a certain time. I need the existing fobs to work for their designated times when the door is not auto opened. I can’t get it to work. Any assistance would be appreciated.
  13. We can not get the custom days to work on our door. We have staff that only should have access from 7 am to 11 am. When I add the custom day to open the door from 8 to noon. That works. However, it then allows the staff member to have access after 11 am. We tried a rule and trigger but can’t seem to get it to work. This door has staff that has different accesses. How do we set it up. Any hep and examples would be appreciated. Thanks.
