Hoping someone can suggest a solution. Our school runs no-notice detentions daily. Depending on the number of behaviour incidents and late marks students accumulate in a day, determines whether they receive a 30 minute, 60 minute, 90 minute of 120 minute detention, that same day.
SIMs isn't designed to administer such a system so we have created a work around but it creates a huge deal of work for the office and can lead to inaccuracies.
Just wondering if any other schools run a similar system and how they administer it. Parents all have to be notified by text message by 2.30pm and there are often between 50 and 70 students in detention in each day.
Any suggestions welcome
