    All this talk of RAID vs ZFS and I'm thinking...you still have lots of local storage? Such a small server footprint these days, who give a smeg what redundancy it's running on so long as it is fit for purpose and you know how to resolve any issues that occur...

    Do you use Deduplication on your existing file server? If so you'll need to remember to put it on again on the new server otherwise you/your users will have trouble with opening files that have been deduplicated.
