  1. It's the glass that's cracked, but the glass and LCD panel is fused in to one unit with the iMac's from 2015. Unfortunately we can't just replace the glass, and an entirely new display outweighs the value of the whole Mac, (£500!)
  2. For anyone googling this, if Step 5 doesn't work, because it can be temperamental with certain operating systems, try downloading the App "Install Disk Creator" which works every time
  3. We're currently facing a bit of a challenge with our 2015 27" iMacs. They're running painfully slow with 1tb fusion drives, and unfortunately, we can't afford to replace them with new iMacs right now. We have decided to go down the upgrade route and fit new SSDs and additional ram. The only issue we're encountering is that these iMacs are quite difficult to take apart. We've tried to do it ourselves, but we've already accidentally cracked two screens in the process. So, we were wondering if anyone could recommend a reputable company in London that could help us with the labour needed for this task? We'd really appreciate any suggestions or advice. Thank you so much in advance
