The laser has a Windows PC to drive it. Students will place the file in the Google Shared Drive Windows laptops are becoming unreliable and unmanageable. TO replace the current Windows laptops with more Windows laptops is not sustainable for us due to damage. DT will be given Chromebooks just like every other department. We are currently exploring Onshape. Is anyone aware of training for Onshape?

Morning, What are other schools using in their DT department for their Laser Cutter? Students are currently using 2D Design. However, we need to make the switch over to Chreombooks for DT. Therefore online/cloud-based is a requirement.

The room in question has an AP6. I don't think they come with the screen share feature. Will give that a try in other rooms.

What wireless solutions are people using to connect to Promethean Boards? In certain rooms, we have great distances between the board and laptop, and most cables have failed at these distances Would need to be HDMI and USB to enable touch

How are people doing Chromebook booking systems? Currently, we have the Chromebooks as a room on Arbor and staff will set up a general event on Arbor. Is anyone doing anything better?

Hello Folks! I am currently attempting to deploy out Netsupport School 15 to all our Macs around the school. I am attempting to package with composer and import into Jamf School with no luck. When I run the pkg manualy I get an error "The installation failed" I've also tried the reccomdned way via Apple remote desktop but no luck with that either. ANy advice appriciated it's been a while since i've need to package somethiong to import into Jamf

Hi Everyone, Does anyone have anything like daily or weekly task/check list that they stick to? Things like: Check backups Check servers and switches Check 365 logs I recently became a one-man-band and would like to know the sort of things I should be doing everyday vs every week. The guy who left didn't really have anything written and evertyhing was very ad-hoc. I am trying to put a bit more organisation into the department for when a new person arives. Prehaps your using some sort of software to keep track of these as a team? Any ideas appriciated as I try to clear up the mess left behind and show the school that I can run the department.

Ah that explains why you have the fancy features. We're stuck with ipecs for now. most of are phones are the basic model lip 9002. They are missing so many basic features like a directory.

How does eveyone organise their Internal Phone lists. We currerntly have an A4 sheet with all staff listed alpebetical. I've been asked if we can group them by departments and make it a bit prettier. Has anyone got a template that I can steal?

I would definetly agree that we don't need external emails to most DG. However I have previosuly been told (by previous technician) that we can't block the external due to the DG originating from AD.

I manually updated all APs to the latest version (6.5.54). However is now saying all my APs need updating. I click update and it reverts back to 6.5.28. How can I import the newer version (6.5.54)? I am on Network Application 7.4.156
