We are seeking to appoint 2 x first line Senior ICT Technicians on a full time, permanent basis with an immediate start. The purpose of this post is to provide an efficient and effective ICT technical support service to pupils, staff and academy guests, whilst ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of ICT technologies within the London Academies. The postholder will report to the ICT Network Manager and travel between academy sites is required. About the role: We are looking for a regional ICT manager for our south region, to provide technical and operational management, support and guidance to our academies. This role will be responsible for ensuring IT service levels are maintained across the region, as well as delivering and evaluating progress against projects and service improvements. This opportunity is a permanent full-time position. The role is home based with travel within the specified region. You will be joining a well-established, supportive ICT team that sits within the Head Office function of a not-for-profit organisation which operates across England. Main duties and responsibilities: The post holder will be expected to: Work closely with the Director of ICT and other central IT staff to deliver the OAT digital strategy, ensuring consistency of quality, compliance, and performance across academies in the specified region. Work as a member of the Central IT Services team, to ensure academies in the specified region have access to services and support that are cost-effective, safe, and align with the strategic objectives of OAT. Working with the Director of ICT, lead cost-effective, technical and operational improvement projects for academies within the specified region, that align with the digital strategy, and support agreed IT Development Plans (IDPs). Provide timely support to the central infrastructure team, where required, to resolve technical incidents and problems escalated by academies within the specified region, as per the OAT service level agreement (SLA). About you: The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working with senior, non-IT stakeholders to successfully implement IT related improvement and transformation projects. The post holder will hold qualifications in either Microsoft Certified Dynamics 365 or Azure Solutions Architect Expert. YYou will be an excellent communicator and be able to develop positive working relationships with stakeholders in and outside of OAT. You must be able to work well within and across teams and have a willingness to embrace and celebrate the ethos and values of OAT.
