This new and innovative role presents an opportunity for a proactive person to join our dynamic IT Services team. We are looking for someone who can work closely with both teachers and technologists to make sure that our learning technology provides excellent support for teaching our students. The role covers specialist teaching and learning applications, as well as smartboards, projectors, Microsoft Teams and, Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of both the technology and teaching worlds and will be able to communicate technical matters to non-technologists at all levels. Sevenoaks School is currently seeking to appoint an IT Co-ordinator - AV (All year round, Full-time or Term time plus). The main purposes of this role are to help staff and students by fulfilling IT service requests, fixing IT problems and being the team’s expert on audio-visual aspects of IT, particularly classroom AV. The role reports to the Lead: User Services, in the IT Department. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, problem solving and working as part of a team. Takes a logical, consistent approach to solving problems, including diagnosis and testing and focuses on providing excellent customer service at all times. What we offer A salary of £30,000 - £35,000pa is available for this post, depending on the qualifications, skills and experience. The salary will be pro-rata if term time plus.
