Thank you! We will be proactively monitoring the school. It does allow me to differentiate who can access what but does not link with LDAP and they do require information, so I am thinking of getting a Barracuda, do you reccomend any school filtering lists, or do you know if the hardware comes with one? I just wish to get the very best possible for the school. I will monitor it myself but we can assign an officer within the school to have access too. Thanks

I see your point, Draytek Vigor routers have Firewall and filtering options, would you have thought simply utilising a GlobalView subscription would be okay?

I dont think there is too much BYOD but a network level filter would be ideal. I just am after an idea of costing, as the suppliers seem to hide it very well.

Hi all, This is my first post here so thank you for having me. We are just moving into the school IT area after dealing with companies and end customers until now. I was wondering if I could get some advice on the best filtering and firewall solution for a small primary school with 60 computers and 20 ish iPads? They are very price conscious, but I would like a secure solution that I can work with as I hope to work with more schools. Any general advice I would be very grateful for too! Thanks a lot Tom
