  1. Hi I'm pleased to share details of a Senior Technician vacancy within our Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual, to work as part of our larger Trust IT team. The successful applicant will line manage the school's IT Technician, and will work closely with the central IT team - consisting of specialists, the Deputy IT Manager, and Trust IT Manager. There is plenty of scope to get involved with wider Trust projects, as best suits your skills, and we are proud of developing our IT staff internally. The location is that of our Trust Head Office - Stokesley School, North Yorkshire, TS9 5AL. Salary range £30,559.00 - £33,366.00, 37 hours per week, full time. Annual leave begins at 28 days, rising to 34 days after 5 years of continuous service. Existing service record carried over from equivalent NJC organisations in the usual way. https://mynewterm.com/jobs/141930/EDV-2025-SS-17704 If you have any questions or would like to apply for the role, please follow the link above to learn more. Thanks, James
  2. Hi I'm just reaching out to see if any other schools/Trusts are using Every? Our Trust has recently gone "all in" and would like to use Every for HR and Estates. We're hoping to store policies, the Trust's single central record, track compliance, do performance management, and make full use of the product. Unfortunately, syncing is not as slick as we might have hoped. It can use Wonde, but seems limited to creating one time new staff records, that (other than attendance) never sync back and forth between Every and Bromcom. We've had to explain to our HR team that they will need to change staff names in Bromcom and Every if someone gets married. They've also been directed by Every Support to set up "dummy" staff in Bromcom, to keep our cover team happy, and to let schools complete the school census. Yet the system only syncs staff from Bromcom once an hour, so there's a lot of waiting around for new Bromcom staff to appear before other details can be entered! Best not to think about staff leavers or the need to set up permissions for all users manually, as there doesn't seem to be an option to set defaults and no one is ever removed but by hand! Is anyone using Every in anger on a large scale, and do you have any suggestions about how to best work around the tools clunkiness? I can see the appeal of Every, but it seems as though for all the time the system promises to save, it comes at a cost. If anyone would be willing to share their hints and ideas, our HR Manager would love to be able to make contact with others who are making better use of the system. Thanks, James
