Wasn't sure where to post this one....but it seems to be Xerox related so hardware.
We have a Xerox Altalink C8035 MFD. When printing from Excel 2019 and Excel 2016 to the C8035 we can't get it to print single sided across the whole workbook without selecting each page and then changing it to Print One Sided in the Excel Print Settings.
So for example, we have a 25 worksheet workbook and we don't want to print it double sided. So we go into Print and select Print One Sided and then Print. Xerox prints the first page single sided and then the remaining pages double sided. it doesn't set the Print One Sided globally across the whole workbook.
The workaround is to select each page in the Excel Print Settings and change each page to Print One Side. Press Print and it prints single sided.
If we select the HP or Konica printers we have on site to print to and select Print One Sided on the first page, it applies across the whole workbook, no need to select each page and change.
This, so far, has been experienced/tested on a Windows 10 laptop and desktop.
Laptop is running Office 2019 with Xerox driver Xerox GPD PCL6 V5.860.1.0.
Desktop is running Office 2016 with Xerox driver Xerox Altalink C8035 V4 PS.
We've also made sure that 1-sided print is selected from the 2-Sided Printing pull-down menu in the Xerox Printing Preferences.
Worth noting that double sided/single sided printing works fine for Word documents and PDF files.
