Senior Network ManagerJOB OVERVIEWSt Bede’s Catholic College has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a passion and aptitude for information technology. The successful candidate will have oversight of the whole network, and management of the Network Manager. We are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities.The hours of work will be 08.00 – 16.00, Monday to Thursday and 08.00 – 15.30 Friday, 30-minute lunch break, all year round for which the annual salary is St Bede’s Grade 12, point 32-35- £35,371 - £39,571.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:• 3 years of Network Manager experience on a medium sized network (large school network)• proven ability to work on their own initiative.• high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.• can-do attitude.• commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE: • Lead the IT Networking function, providing ICT support to staff and pupils, interacting effectively with all users;• Provide expert assistance and training to other members of the IT department and act as an escalation point for networking issues;• Keep technical knowledge updated
