Job Purpose - assist in delivering reliable and efficient IT systems and provide comprehensive IT support for Academy staff and students
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage the day to day running of the network under direction of the Network Manager.
· Delivery of the consistent performance of all ICT systems
· Ensure the functionality and repair of all school computing equipment, rectifying problems and effecting necessary repairs within agreed timeframes
· Provide first and second line support for Academy ICT queries with technical escalation to line manager and third-party partners as appropriate
· To keep detailed current inventory of software and hardware in the Trusts official asset register software
· To liaise with academy staff and senior leadership team
The Person

· Experience in a technical support role

· the ability to work hard under pressure
· a sense of humour and proportion
