Hi, Does anyone have a secure way to allow C# to be used for our Computer Science department? We use AppLocker which prevents unauthorised exe's from running, we would like a way to allow the compiled C# programs to run without compromising security.

Hi I was just wondering if anyone could recommend the best way to move from LAN based shares to Sharepoint cloud storage. We can see pros and cons of Cloud Drive Mapper, Creating SharePoint shortcuts under OneDrive, and Foldr but none completely services all our needs. We have an Alpha Interactive screen that we wish to use for digital signage. We want the screen to automatically turn on and off, the menu’s support “On Time” and “Off Time” but there doesn’t seem to be a way to set the time, has anyone found a solution to this issue?

We are using Cloud Drive Mapper to map to a SharePoint site generally this is working well, but we have an intermittent issue where the location will become unavailable, this usually resolves itself within a few minutes, using the refresh settings option from the system try also usually resolves it. Has anyone else experienced similar and found a solution?

We have a number of Surface dock 2’s connected to a projector and monitor (Plus keyboard/mouse/visualiser and interactive whiteboard). We have found that when you connect a Surface (Pro 7) into the dock its very intermittent if both the Monitor and projector will be detected by the Surface, USB devices are usually detected but not always. Unplugging the dock and plugging it back in will usually resolve the issue. We have tried USB C to HDMI cables and the official Microsoft USB-C to HDMI dongles. Has anyone else experienced issues like these with Surface Docks?

We have an intermittent issue with downloading files in Chrome, most of the time the files will download normally and open correctly, however sometimes the file will appear to download but the downloaded file will not open and is not present in the directory the file was downloaded into. We are redirecting the users Chrome profile to the users home drive so that settings can roam with users. Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a resolution? Thanks

I assume the registry fix you mentioned is the following: Set: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Storage\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe to Full control on ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES If so have you found a way to roll this change out through group policy?

We have exactly the same problem with Edge, it loads correctly the first time a user logs into a machine, subsequent logins result in Edge just opening and closing, unless the local copy of the roaming profile is removed from the machine and then it will work again for the first login. Does the registry fix resolve this issue permanently?
