User_Error

Morning Ive been battling with this for a while; I couldnt get the server based install to work kept asking for the cd on the workstations, installed it all manually locally and it works fine in administrator accounts, but the shortcuts wont even go through in the pupils accounts i cant find anything glaringly obvious in the permissions, what does abacus evolve need from the user to run? Teachers have everything locally installed on their laptops which works fine help please guys.

Thats the theory, the heads in some of my other schools use the school trends service but it costs 500 quid hosting is not an issue as the county provide that and an address but the head is html illiterate and wants a wizard i will hold out till he takes the school trends service as its the better option. One of my primary schools' web hoster is shutting now ive backed up all the data but the head wants a new system with an easy wizard interface like geocities...... for free Does anybody know anywhere. Thanks Dan
