    Thanks so much for this pointer. I had been redirecting some of my UserShell folders using RegEdit (OK, I should have learnt by now to be EXTRA cautious) and had misspelled %USERPROFILES%. (Actually it is %USERPROFILE% without the S!! With your pointer, I checked carefully, and now all working FINE.
