The site is set on a beautiful multi-use area in the heart of Basingstoke, covering approximately 25 acres. Its educational facilities range from state-of-the art teaching facilities built in the last few years to buildings that were original to the Shrubbery School first established in the 1950s. The College operates a commercial theatre, Central Studio, and Sports Centre. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who can demonstrate their technical experience in this particular field and is enthusiastic at delivering great customer service to tight deadlines. Working in this environment requires good organisational skills, clear and strong communication, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, good attention to detail and an analytical approach to working. Purpose of Job: To significantly contribute to the development of the College’s in-house web-based student information system “Vista”, including enhancements, new features and day to day maintenance. To stay informed and knowledgeable of the latest statistical datasets for use in target setting and performance analysis. To be proficient in the use of SQL server and reporting tools to support the College’s statutory data returns and internal management reporting. To support and develop college modelling tools including timetabling with a high skill level in the Microsoft Office toolset especially Microsoft Excel. Maintain, develop and support the core College student records system (Pro-Solution).
