The second option could be made easier by instead making a "Multi-"Connect.ini whereby you list the databases, then when you load SIMS, it should just allow you to choose which DB you're logging into from a dropdown. You can even set friendly names as well. I would expect the capita* service desk to be able to help you with the connect.ini if you have contract with them. If wanted i can try and give you an example, i just don't have it to hand right now

Best place to look if you want to know why it failed is the agents log file for that install: C:\ProgramData\Capita\Solus3\Deployments\{SOME_GUID_HERE}\{SAME_GUID}.txt Best to choose the most recently used GUID folder then check the top of the Txt file to see it was the right install. Should look like an ugly mess where the issue occured, longest line in the file if you're not using word wrap (suggest turning it off, makes the log files nicer to read)
