    SOLVED! If you access the Debug Menu (I found this in the Service Manual which I obtained from my local Clevertouch repairer), go to Android Setting > Change Unknown Sources to "On" (default setting is "Off"). This setting can be changed back to the default setting once you have installed your Apps.
