Pay Scale: H5 SCP 9 – 14 (£20,344 - £22,462)
Hours: 8.00am until 4.00pm (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

Ridgeway Academy is a member of the Alban Academies Trust (AAT), together with Sandringham and Verulam schools. An ICT Technician is required to join the ICT team at Ridgeway Academy to work full time (52 weeks) to provide first line IT support services to students and staff on school related IT, supporting teaching and learning by maintaining IT hardware (in consultation with outside agencies if appropriate) and ensure the efficient running of all computers throughout the school on a day-to-day basis. Whilst the position is based at Ridgeway Academy, you will be working with a team of highly skilled ICT Technicians and Managers across the Trust.

We are looking for someone who:
Has knowledge of:
Basic TCP/IP
Windows Network diagnostic and optimisation
Microsoft Windows 10 Workstations
PC and Server hardware
Windows Server System administration
Has flexibility and sensitivity to the needs and levels of knowledge of a wide range of users of the school
Has patience and the ability to work on their own initiative and prioritise tasks
Can demonstrate practical knowledge and problem solving strategies
Has effective communication skills
Is able to keep abreast of new developments in software, hardware and new technologies
Can share and deliver in the vision to be an outstanding department
