It shows no errors. It shows the display for a brief second. Also, changing resolution is not working either.

1. Yea tried that. Couldn't find newer drivers via Device Manager 2. I bought this one new cuz old one had color trouble. (Displayed only yellow) 3. Can't change it if not connected. 4. It works totally fine with an older laptop (Dell Latitude D620). No distortion of any sorts. Could it be some sort of "power available at the port" issue?

I am trying to connect a secondary display to my laptop. But it keeps disconnecting, like per second. My device is Dell Latitude E5440 and the secondary display is a Dell LCD. I am using a VGA cable because the LCD doesn't support HDMI. Please let me know any fix for this... ~Desi_Arsenic
