I cannot really find much about this online. We are starting our Windows 10 project, at the moment we use Windows 7 Enterprise.

For education, is there really any reason to use Education? Or can we stick with Win 10 Enterprise?

From what I can see, both versions seem to be exactly the same?

Thanks.

As previously discussed on Edugeek, later down the line, they may decide to release Apps specific for the Education version, but this is yet to materialise.

So the big change is that there is one place to make Windows 10 "Education Ready" whereas with Enterprise you have to set them yourself?

I may be being pessimistic, but I think I'd prefer to set them myself anyway. "SetEduPolicies" could be changed at any time to modify telemetry and diagnostics, for example, whereas setting them specifically in a GPO is guaranteed to go unmolested (Or it will break Enterprise as well).
