Little-Miss Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Our InTouch is having a paddy and is refusing to let anyone use it. Worked fine up until today. Now says : There is a problem with your InTouch services Blah blah (Data service: Communication error - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it [iP]) Any ideas...i don't have a fat lot to do with this so am in the dark with it all. The server is due a reboot but any suggestions in the meantime?
Kyle Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Go to Tools>InTouch>Service Setup and click on the 'test' button and see if they all say 'Connection Succeded' Let me know. 1
Little-Miss Posted January 30, 2013 Author Posted January 30, 2013 Well that was interesting...*grumbles about not having administration access to SIMS* Ran it on Business Managers PC. Comes up with an error message Unable to retrieve Callback Service address from the Administration service When we clicked ok, then greeted by an InTouch server page. 1st box and 3rd box are blank, the 3rd being the Callback service.
Kyle Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 (edited) is the 1st box your Site ID or your Administration Service? Edited January 30, 2013 by Kyle
Little-Miss Posted January 30, 2013 Author Posted January 30, 2013 lol! I dunno, should it?! Cant tell if you're telling me or asking me? I've never been near these settings....
Kyle Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 (edited) Yes, on ours this shows our full school name against our SIteID. Edited January 30, 2013 by Kyle
Kyle Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Just had a thought, are you using InTouch on a different PC than normal?
Kyle Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Not sure if you got this sorted but i now know what the issue is, let me know if you need help.
maxpower3510 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Hi, I am having the same problem, site id and call back service is blank.
DSapseid Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I have had this issue a couple of times and it was due to the time on the server being out of sync with capita's server. Try changing the time to match the gmt clock here.

maelortech Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Thanks so much Kyle! This solved so many issues with our SIMS, including InTouch. You legend!!!
