ICT Technician - Failsworth - Manchester

A new post has arisen requiring an ICT Technician to provide support to Primary Schools within the Failsworth Learning Partnership Trust.

Hours: 36.40 hours per week, term time only + 15 days (205 days)

 

Contract basis: 12 months fixed term contract

 

Salary: Scale 3 £16,440 to £16,830 (Subject to Job Evaluation)

 

(£14,653 to £15,001 actual salary)

Please note that while this post has been advertised as a "fixed-term" contract, it is anticipated that the post will become permanent. In essence as part of the Failsworth Learning Partnership Trust we are providing a full technical support service to 3 of our partner primary schools. As this is the first year of doing this there are no guarantees that the schools will continue with this service at the end of the twelve month period. It would be incumbent on the individual that was appointed to this post to ensure that the service provided to the schools is to such a level that they feel confident to continue with our services. Consequently it is a valuable opportunity to make a name for yourself and also to gain valuable experience of working in such an environment while gaining valuable technical skills along the way. The salary scale is reflective of the one year post. If the incumbent remains in post beyond this then they will continue on a scale 3 spine above the mentioned top end figure.
