chrisredfield93 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 The parents are thinking of changing ISPs and wondering is there to transfer a copy of their email messages in their inbox and folders accross from their current ISP to their new? I was thinking wouldn't software like outlook or windows mail could be used to download a copy of all they existing email messages and contacts, and then it can re upload to their new ISP inbox. Would this work or am i wrong? i always used web based email and never used these kind of software.
plexer Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 If the old account is active after the transfer you can do a pop3 or imap transfer if it's supported. Ben
