Kindle White Paper or KoboGlo?

After reading a lot lately on my tablet, via the Kindle app, I have decided it's a good idea to buy an e-reader, but can't make my mind up between the two, Kindle White Paper or a KoboGlo?

 

I've read both good and bad reviews and can't make my mind up on either - I definitely like the idea of one of the two due to the variable backlight (that isn't a backlight... or something...)

 

Anyone offer any advice? Preferably from experience I'm more interested in the reading experience on the device, as appose to it's connectivity options and customer support etc.

If you allready have kindl purchases then the kindle would be the way to go?

I have but only 8 or 10 books and I've read them so wouldn't be majorly fussed about losing them
