Hi all,

Just installed SCCM 2012 SP1 which fixed some issues we were having with WMI.

Anyway, it has picked up all the clients from the database, and shows them as active. I've even pushed out the client in case it was updated. All of that is working fine.

The problem im having is that the monitoring for endpoint protection (that was also updated in SP1) is only showing 1 device. The other computers have it installed, and are still updating but they arent being monitored.

Is there a way to force it to reinstall the endpoint protection manually on all computers to make sure they are being included in the monitoring?

It says that there are the right number of clients in the collection, but they all report endpoint agent not yet installed.

Is that updating the SCCM client ont he machines to SP1? What method did you use?

I assume so. I right clicked the all system collection and installed client from there, told it to always install too. So i assume they are updated.

You're amazing, didnt even think to look in the site settings for client upgrade settings.

Thanks. If it doesnt push out and sort endpoint protection ill come back :)

Do you have KB2506143 installed on your clients? This problem sounds like something this causes.

Yes, just checked my WSUS. It's deployed so they should all have it.

That's bad then. Its not support on SCCM RTM clients. It caused problems on about 100 machines here. It required reinstalling the SCCM client. See Here

Oh. Is there a way to create a package to deploy it manually?

Your lucky you can get your clients to talk, i couldn't

Think i've got it sussed. Had to add the Endpoint role on the server again since the update and had to double check the client policy for SCEP was on there.

Think thats cracked it.

Thats odd, mine just worked.

Yeh, I thought so too. It clearly was set up before, since I have SCEP on all the computers. They even upgraded from Forefront Endpoint.

Sounds like a mirror to ours, we used to have FEP.
