m25man Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Sitting at home watching the TV tonight all the lights and TV went off momentarily, not enough to call a blackout but it was quite a spike! A few minutes later I got several APC alerts from UPS systems stretching right across London from West, North and East postcodes, so if your confronted with a bunch of inexplicable problems on Monday and you know your power protection policy isn't upto scratch you will only have yourself to blame... Or the SLT for not giving you the money for that new UPS you wanted 1

Nothing noticable here in south London (Tooting), but I'll check the school system (Knightsbridge) just in case. Glad we bought those new UPS batteries the other week :-)
