GREED Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Aspen MIS, from Follett and supported by BT & Novatia, will be at BETT 2013 on stand E62. Please come along to see Aspen MIS in action, talk to some of our customers and partners. Exciting new features and partnerships in the UK are set to be announced at the event. If you want a dedicated demonstration of Aspen MIS, feel free to PM me and we can arrange a time/day to visit the stand and speak to either myself or one of our technical experts. Look forward to seeing you all there! Graham

I'm very intrigued, and you never know what might be around the corner! I'll be there on the Friday so will certainly pop along. 1
GREED Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 Do it, look forward to seeing you there! If nothing else it can reaffirm you have the right MIS for your school, and I am happy with that!

X-13 Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I may drop down and say hey. I was just looking at what you have and the Destiny stuff actually sounds cool. [i completely forgot about our Library software...]
GREED Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 Destiny is market leading globally, in 150 countries worldwide and, arguably the biggest in the world. So do please come and have a chat about that too. Although i am not an expert in Destiny (yet) we will have Destiny bods on the stand.

GREED Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 Going to pop by Sat myself for a peek. Do you do any online reporting systems? @CAM can you just clarify your meaning of online reporting? Is this delivering reports online, or running and creating outputs (reports) online?
vikpaw Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I'd like to book a session when @X-13 is there, so i can point and stare and see what all teh fuss is about.
GREED Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 I'd like to book a session when @X-13 is there, so i can point and stare and see what all teh fuss is about. I'm gonna smack you in a bit! See what all the fuss is about... honestly!
CAM Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 @CAM can you just clarify your meaning of online reporting? Is this delivering reports online, or running and creating outputs (reports) online? Creating them in SIMS then delivering them to parents via a portal or similar.
GREED Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 Creating them in SIMS then delivering them to parents via a portal or similar. Simple answer then: Yes. Create the reports in Aspen MIS and they can be delivered to the built-in (not an extra buy in) parent portal directly, and instantly. 1
X-13 Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 so i can point and stare and see what all teh fuss is about. [/upside-down question mark]Que?
vikpaw Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 [/upside-down question mark]Que? "Oh, you're X-13!" but we can both stand and point at Graham if you like.
X-13 Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Oh, you're X-13! but we can both stand and point at Graham if you like. OOOOOOOOOH... I read that differently. In a "HAHAHA X-13 is teh weirdo" kind of way.
GREED Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 Please don't point and laugh, i'll only get sarky and point out the obvious at how Aspen MIS is so awesome!
X-13 Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Please don't point and laugh, i'll only get sarky and point out the obvious at how Aspen MIS is so awesome! Considering we use Integris and I've seen a LOT of bad comments about Capita... I may agree with you.
GREED Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 Considering we use Integris and I've seen a LOT of bad comments about Capita... I may agree with you. Baaahahaha... brilliant!
