sonic1485 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Does anybody know of a way to install both Windows Live Movie Maker 2011 and Movie Maker 2012 side-by-side? We are having students bring in project work from home using Windows 8 which has Movie Maker 2012 installed as default but they cannot open their files on the older version.
AJWhite1970 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) Happy to be proved wrong but I don't think you will be able to run them side by side as they look to share far too many resources of the same name but different versions. WLMM 2012 is simple enough to distribute though, the full command line would be:- wlsetup-all.exe /silent /AppSelect:MovieMaker /NOToolbarCEIP /NOhomepage /Nolaunch /nosearch with the off-line installer available here:- How do I install Windows Essentials while offline? - Install offline Hope that's of some help Andrew Edited January 9, 2013 by AJWhite1970 1
