SirToby Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Hi All. Sorry If this isn't on the right board. In one of our computer labs, we are experiencing an issue with WMM the software doesn't open unless speakers are connected to the PC. the following message appears "Sorry, Movie Maker can't start. Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements before trying to start" unless I plug in a pair of headphones then it starts. This isn't the case with the other machines. Is there a way I can force WMM to open without speakers? or any other trick that would help? Thanks alot.
VeryPC_Tom_M Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I doubt it, unfortunately.. The recommended system requirements for Movie Maker are: 56.6-KBps or faster modem with current Internet connection (Windows Movie Maker option) CD-ROM drive Sound card Speakers or headphones Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device SVGA Monitor (*VGA monitor) Pentium II 300-MHz processor or better (*Pentium 150 MHz) 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM (*32 MB) 2 gigabytes (GB) of free hard-disk space (*320 MB) Good quality microphone (Windows Movie Maker option) Video capture device (Windows Movie Maker option) 1
