iSCSI Disk suddenly shown as RAW

I connect to our office NAS box via the Microsoft iSCSI initiator and after a sudden (and rare) blue screen and reboot the drive now appears as RAW and unformatted (Don't worry, I haven't re-formatted it!). It's a Thecus N503 Combo setup and need to know if there is anything I can do to get it back up and showing the file system as is. I know the files are still there as Recuva can see them.

It's pretty urgent as I've just moved a whole shed load of pics onto there for when my home NAS arrives.

I assume you've restarted everything and disconnected/re-connected to the iscsi target?

Yes, I disconnected and reconnected (restarted the NAS and PC as well). It's very strange.

Hmmm. Just found this blog post: Raymond's blog: Windows recognised iscsi drive as RAW (no longer as NTFS)

I'll not do the convert command yet but start with chkdsk.

Worth a shot, especially as it seems a simple fix.

I'm guessing you needed some new shorts Chris!! I had that happen on one of my backup servers and was about to suggest the chkdsk route... Glad it's fixed for you.
